In accordance with the Sunshine Law of the State of Missouri, RSMo 610.023, the Platte County Clerk, as the custodian of Platte County public records, shall provide for access to a public record when requested.
Requests shall be acted upon as soon as possible, but in no event, later than the end of the third business day following the date the request is received.

The County Clerk will charge a fee for the time used to research and the cost of paper copies or other media and if other offices are involved in searching for records, then the hourly charge will vary from office to office.
